Smart EXPO, smart future – The future if cities in EXPO and nearbies

Foundation Comunica supports the meeting “Smart Expo, Smart future-The future of cities in Expo and nearbies” scheduled Tuesday 17 June at 18.00 at the Talent Garden Padova in Padua (address Via Croce Rossa 36).
A free event, in cooperation with Enel, addressed to professionals, entrepreneurs and citizens to discuss issues that are really important to Fondazione Comunica: innovation, smart cities, sustainability, development, efficiency, quality.
At the center of the debate there will be the Smart City, that is the intervention of town planning that allows you to make the city more livable by giving priority to environmental protection, energy efficiency and economic sustainability.
The exposition of Luca Cavalletto, graduated in engineering in Padua and Enel of Smart Cities expert, will explain how a town can become smart by investing in infrastructure such as transport and ICT, ensuring sustainable economic development and a high quality of life thanks to the action of participatory citizenship. In this context it will also discuss about of developing project implementation on the occasion of Expo where Enel is a partner for the Smart Energy activities and Smart Lighting, and the opportunity will be important also to talk about how to make smart even the city of Padua.
