A date with training course about Arduino in March

It will give space to innovation and to learning at the training pole of Fondazione Comunica! From Tuesday 3rd  to Tuesday 24th of March , there will be a weekly date in Comunicalab (in Padova, Via Croce Rossa 32) with the course of Arduino to discover what it is, which the basic orders are, how to realise simple circuit (for example to turn on a led, too read a detector) and what to do after this!

Teacher: Andrea Vial

Andrea is a Maker,  that is he mixes his skills of Electronic and Computer Science to create new things. He has an uncontrolled passion for Arduino and for all opensource and openhardware applications like 3D printer, to make fast prototype and Internet of things.

Now he collaborates as freelance software and hardware developer with Vegan Solutions and Unipiazza.

Plan:

First night:

– Arduino introduction

– IDE installation

– Driver installation

– IDE set up and use

– Blink on Breadboard

Second night:

– Digitals and analogues Pin

– To manage Output (led)

– Use of serial port

– To manage input (button, pot, light detector)

Third night:

– Use of PWM signals (led rgb, buzzer, server)

– Creation of a circuit with more components

– Use of library

Fourth night:

– The last meeting is dedicated to participants! They could bring their material (staying always in Arduino theme) and they could work freely to their project, with teacher’s assistance. It will be precious opportunity to test new tools and to make net, knowing others  Arduino’s applications.

Requirement:

Kit Arduino, Computer and USB cable.

The course is not address only to technics but also to inquiring people: there are not requested particular technical skills.
