
Digitagliando: Paduan and Venetian businesses to report

The second and third stage of the Roadshow Digitagliando took place 4 May 2015 in the cities of Padua and Venice.
Good response of the Paduan companies, with more than 200 digitagliando compiled. The scenario that emerges is interesting in that they seem to have chosen a different path than those of other companies in Veneto: while in the other provinces companies prefer to be present on social networks, in the province of Padua, however 70% of the companies has its own website Internet while only 62% is present then in social networks. Also they love the little commerce, with one company on 6 active in online sales (regional average 1 to 5). Good use of digital systems with regard to payment, while for Presence and Promotion figure is slightly lower than the regional average, with ample room for improvement so.
Compared to the Venetian average the province of Venice is by far the most “mobile-friendly”. Good use of digital systems with regard to payments, full enough for Presence and Promotion. There is also a great desire to ecommerce enterprise with 1 to 4 active in online sales. They use very social networks, and Facebook is preferred to traditional website.
If we wanted to speak in terms of “Test Results Digital”, we could say that the Province of Venice Market Tertiary is promoted as far as areas of “Making”, the “Knowing” and “Getting to Know.”
At the conclusion of the meetings Maria Luisa Coppola, Regional Minister for Economic Development, Research and Innovation, said that for enterprises in commerce, tourism and services of the process of diffusion of new technologies can become a value-added and institutions have the task of helping to embrace new business models. Technological innovation is indeed one of the pillars of the new European programming.
