Internet Governance Forum Italy 2015, Potti and Fondazione Comunica protagonists

Today at Montecitorio it take place the italian phase of Internet Governance Forum Italia 2015. Among the speakers even Gianni Potti, intervened in the session dedicated to “digital revenge” moderated by Riccardo Luna.
The data emerged in these days demonstrate clearly that the digital delay in our country is huge: only 53% of Italian firms is present on the internet and even only 17% of our companies is present on social networks. But the country has begun a digital comeback the work, not always coordinated by Government, business and civil society.
Here are the reasons to hope that soon we will not be the latest in Europe.
In his speech Potti among other things said: “as a country we focus much on digital manufacturing for growth.
Only one significant revamping of the Italian production system, thanks to digital technology, can enable us to accelerate growth. And here is a new awareness and culture of us entrepreneurs!
Say to the Government that the certain  incentives need, but first of all we think that the Government should interpret a new industrial policy, considering the digital not only as a startup and app generator, but as a driver of economic development industry. Us businesses need the Government, operators, give us to be competitive ultra-wideband. Under these conditions, the digital recovery is more than possible! ”
An important appointment to take stock of the State of health of digital in Italy just over a week by DIGITALmeet 2015. The big event on digital literacy for people and businesses organised by  Fondazione Comunica and Talent Garden Padua in collaboration with Pordenone TalentGarden :
40 speakers, 80 events, 70 different locations, 60 societies partecipating in 3 regions (Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige).

The event #IGFItalia2015

Promoted by the United Nations since 2006, the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is a place for discussion multi-stakeholders, declined at the global, regional and national levels, in which all stakeholders are confronted on issues related to Internet governance, in other words the rules, procedures, infrastructure and programs that determine the functioning and evolution of the network.
Apsects –technical, legal, economic and social-that Governments, the private sector and civil society to contribute and have impact not only on management of the Internet, but also on broader issues such as participation and democratic development.
The seventh edition of IGF Italy held just a few months before the United Nations to decide what action to take at the Internet Governance Forum process that will end with the global event in Brazil in mid November.
Jobs in Brazil will focus on “Evolution of Internet Governance: Empowering Sustainable Development”. The objective of the national meeting is to define the contents of the Italian participation to the IGF globally.
