Italian Association Drones is born
It was presented yesterday the newborn Italian Drones Association (Associazione Italiana Droni) that has the aim of building a Pole of high industrial level Competences and Collaborations, focusing on quality in system and services.
The Italian Association Drones has just been created but it already has got more than one headquarter: one is in Veneto, in the city of Padua, while the other one is in Basilicata, near the city of Potenza. Also, many other Italian Regions are joining the Association in order to build a Pole of high industrial level Competences and Collaborations that focuses on quality in systems and services. This “production chain” will see many actors involved, such as: producers of technologies and flight machines, normative authorities, supervisors, operators, software developers, Public Administration users and private citizens, authorities from the educational and information field; they all will find a unique solution for a fast and balanced development that will give important benefits to a moltitude of applications, such as:
- Construction industry
- City planning
- Infrastructures
- Farming
- Territorial mapping
- Civil and Industrial installations
- Technical supervision with detectors which operate in IR/thermographic/visible spectrum etc.
- TV and cinematographic shots
The Association sees the light thanks to a worthwhile collaboration between our Fondazione Comunica, prestigious reality in Italian digital sector, wich has in its purposes the development, the divulgation and the knowledge of digital competences, Cardtech, operator in telematic detector systems with an high quality level (established by ENAC) and Air Drone, specialised in environmental monitoring, in the production and selling of multicopters and DRONES with relative services. This all made the roots of Italian Drones Association, that wants the development of an Italian production chain wich will supports the technological and industrial growth. The Italian Drones Association will join Confindustria’s Innovative and Technological services.
The recent legislation made by ENAC (National Authority for Civil Aviation) gave an important push to the industrial development of technologies and services wich are related to the Drones, regulating with aeronautical requirements a sector wich was before left by itself. Drones are now available in wide range, but they still have some complexity: in fact they use aerospace provenance technologies wich need an additional system development, a high awarness from those who want to use them and a good control while using them, because they can:
- Reach altitudes that could interfere with other aircrafts
- Injure people and objects in case of accidents
- Put in danger personal privacy
The new regolamentation emphasizes the Security of the operations, the Organisation of operators and the Staff Training.
The President for Italian Drones Association is Luciana De Fino, entrepreneur of the digital world, Vice President of Innovation and Technological Services of Confindustria Basilicata and Vice President of Confindustria’s CNCT National Committee for territorial coordination.
Vice Presidents are:
– Gianni Potti, Entrepreneur in communication and digital sector, Vice President of Confindustria Padova and President for CNCT Confindustria Innovative and Technological Services. Executive Director of Confindustria Veneto “Agenda Digitale e Smart Cities”. President of Fondazione Comunica.
– Claudio Canella, Entrepreneur, Manager of Cardtech and also Accountable Manager in ENAC’s requisition for the Organisation of flight operations with Drones.
The activities of the Italian Drones Association are already started with the planning of various Information, Training and Piloting courses that will take place in autumn. In the next few days it will be available in our website the complete schedule of the events, signing in procedures and courses programs.
