Fondazione Comunica has been selected among the 118 members of the Coalition for the project “Digitagliando” and Digitalmeet because it is actively engaged in increasing digital literacy and culture of enterprises (especially micro and small) that can’t grasp the opportunities offered by the Internet, often due to absence of internal expertise that combines digital technologies and sold through traditional channels.
The road ahead is still very long, as evidenced by the latest Eurostat data show how Italian 1 of 3 between 16 and 74 years has never used a computer. (link:http://www.wired.it/attualita/media/2015/07/20/computer-italiani-sconosciuto/)

As regards the Italian regions in the South are recording negative peaks with almost all regions that amounted to 40% of Italians who have never had the opportunity to use a computer, while in Veneto and Lombardia there is 32%. “We are honored to have been chosen by the Agency for Digital Italy between 100 partners that make up this important coalition- said President of Fondazione Comunica and Digital Champion of Padua, Gianni Potti – because our daily work of Fondazione Comunica aims to spread and promote digital culture among people, businesses and public administration which, from today, will be even more effective with this important recognition.
