The use of drones to help the environment and renewable energies

The market of drones is living in these months a real boom, in fact it is probable that in the next ten years the amount of money used for their technology development will double.
The using of drones by private citizens and companies will grow too, because drones have really huge potentialities. For example, a team of researchers from Politecnico di Milano has developed a monitoring system specifically for photovoltaic installations that is based on drones. But this is not all. In China, researchers are trying to use drones to fight the pollution of the big cities, scattering polluting particles. On our side, near the city of Mantova, on agricultural sector, a drones system has been setted up to wisely leave in the fields a specific insect which eats corne parasites, that is actually causing great damages to Italian farms.
Drones, that as said before have nearly infinite applications, need researches and development, but first of all they need regulation and instructions for their use.
Fondazione Comunica and Italian Drones Association point on regulating the security of operations, the organization of operators and the instruction of workers: starting from next september, in fact, there will be on our classrooms in Via Croce Rossa 32 many education, information and piloting courses.
