Why is it important to use the visual storytelling in the web communication today?
It’s natural: because today the people are fascinated by anything that provokes their an emotion. What better than an image or video can make an immediate emotional effect? If these tell something and evoke an emotion, the mix is perfect.
We know well as an image tries to communicate ideas faster than written text. Whatever form of communication becomes more effective if we use images or videos inside (for example advertising brochure, slideshow, television advertising).
Historically an image worth a thousand words and today in the web’s world this thing is visible. How many times we post in the social network a photo or an image to tell instants and emotions of our days that with the words we cannot express with the same impulse?
We are constantly immersed in information and it is difficult for readers select those they need and find something that attracts them. The images have a fundamental role in our online experience. The 70% of the actions online is captured by images and every day over 300 million images are published on Facebook. This demonstrated how the beautiful images draw our attention and this is an effective communication. From that we can attract visitors, we improve the awareness and the reputation of brand and finally we establish a good relationship with fans and clients.
A good story impassion us and involves all. That is why if a company or an influencer tell us an history, fantastic or real, we are enthusiastic about this. In fact the visual storytelling today is a powerful marketing strategy. If we can evoke an emotion, the visual content will be appreciated much more and it will be used as an example and be successful.
We can only become a Visual Storyteller and we find way into user’s heart!
